Installation Steps

  1. Site Prep
    • Mark the locations of the tank and drain field.
    • Ensure proper setbacks from wells, property lines, and water bodies.
  2. Excavation
    • Dig a level hole for the tank (usually 6–8 feet deep).
    • Excavate trenches for the drain field, typically 18 to 30 inches deep.
  3. Tank Placement
    • Lower the tank into the hole using machinery.
    • Fill with water to prevent floating during backfill.
  4. Pipe Connections
    • Install 4″ PVC inlet and outlet pipes with proper slope.
    • Seal connections with grommets or watertight fittings.
  5. Distribution Box & Leach Field
    • Set the box on native soil and level it.
    • Lay perforated pipe or chambers in trenches.
    • Cover with gravel and soil, leaving inspection ports accessible.
  6. Final Inspection
  • Schedule with local authorities to confirm code compliance.
